A lawn does not need everything thrown at it. It needs the right thing for the problem in front of you. Here is what each treatment does and when it helps.
The everyday fix. We kill the weeds competing with your grass and feed the lawn at the same time, so it comes back thicker and greener instead of leaving bare gaps where the weeds were.
Over time soil gets compacted and hard, and water and feed just run off. We punch deep channels into the lawn so air, water and nutrients can reach the roots again. Best for tired lawns on heavy or well-trodden ground.
A layer of dead material called thatch builds up between the grass and the soil and slowly chokes the lawn. We mechanically rake it out so the grass can breathe, drain and grow properly.
Thin, worn or bare patches filled with fresh, hard-wearing grass seed. The new growth knits into the existing lawn to give you an even, fuller surface rather than obvious bald spots.
Wet or stressed conditions can let fungal diseases take hold, showing as discoloured rings or patches. When it is needed, we treat the affected lawn to stop the disease spreading and give the grass room to recover.

Scarification rakes out the dead thatch sitting on top of the soil so the grass can breathe. Aeration punches channels down into the soil so water and feed reach the roots. Many tired lawns benefit from both, and we will tell you which yours needs.
